ENTER THE SPIRAL - circular acrobatic flow - 15.5. 2016, Ljubljana workshop by FLUID BALANCE - creative acrobatics and aesthetic movement
WHAT TO EXPECT: The goal of the workshop is to give you the necessary building blocks with which you can create unique flow - by connecting transitions, rolls, jumps, dives and acrobatic movements in endless continuum.
BUILDING BLOCKS: - Transitions: QDR / crocodile, turns, floor swipes, crawls - Rolls: front roll, contemporary dance rools, side roll, back roll - Acrobatic movements: cartwheel, monkey flip, butterfly kick, PDM / 1990, handstand, bridge
All levels are welcome! No prior experience is necessary. All the movement elements are passed to students in safe environment and with professional assistance. The elements that you learn on the workshop and the ways of connecting them gives you the opportunity to enrich your movement practice and bring it to a whole new level.

TEACHERS: Nikola Orešković, teacher (Croatia) Years of experience as a teacher in different mind/ body/ movement practices; he worked with individuals from different walks of life. Alongside martial arts and stunt work he was (and still is) practicing yoga, contemporary dance, handbalancing, circus and gymnastics. He merges all these disciplines in his own training system, passing the knowledge to students through fluid balance classes and workshops.
Katjuša Kovačič, teacher (Slovenia) Freelance artist; active in the field of performing arts and pedagogics. Co-working with artists from different disciplines (contemporary dance, circus, hand balancing, capoeira, street theatre ), merging her knowledge and experiences in her unique movement expression, which she shares to students through fluid balance classes and workshops.
